The story behind the offer

For two decades, Corset Wholesale Ltd. has quietly made corsets for boutiques and brands around the world — steel-boned, hand-finished, built to last. We were the workshop behind the label.

But every season leaves good stock behind: overage, cancelled wholesale runs, the last of a line. Too beautiful to discard, too plentiful to ignore. So we built Fashionbid — a way to send that surplus straight to you, instead of to waste.

Why I built FashionBid

I started Corset Wholesale Ltd in 2005 with one sewing machine in Gurgaon and a simple conviction: a corset should be made properly — steel-boned, hand-finished, made to last. Two decades on, that single machine has grown into a 400-person workshop that ships to boutiques in more than 32 countries.

Along the way I kept seeing the same waste — overage, cancelled wholesale runs, the last pieces of a line — beautiful corsetry written off because the system had nowhere to put it. FashionBid is my answer: send that surplus straight to you, let you name a fair price, and make sure nothing beautiful goes to landfill.
